Marc Potocsky’s artwork is quickly being sought after by stars and fans alike of the Rock/Pop scene, creating art pieces of musicians, entertainers, sports stars and legends. Marc grew up in the 60’s Rock culture immersed in art and music eventually becoming a full time professional rock drummer under the name of, aka, Moe Potts playing for the likes of Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, Johnny Winter, Rod(bottleneck)Price and Brooklyn N.Y’s,The Laughing Dogs to name a few. Eventually his passion for art came back into view again and He traded in His sticks in for brushes and started his Interior decorative painting company creating faux finishes, painted murals and ultimately fine art portraiture and still life. Self taught working mainly in oil and acrylics Potoscky’s most outstanding talent is his ability to take varied methods, styles and techniques to a given subject matter. Potocsky's works range from pencil and charcoal drawings, to acrylic painting and watercolor to airbrushing, mixing medias to form conceptual then to near photo realism. 

Marc move towards all of his subjects with a passion to devotion and a high level of reverence and genuineness. Painting mostly from photo references his goal is to dig in and to bring out the subjects life and spirit. Marc has done numerous Sports art paintings for “Victory Fine Art” in L.A. CA. Marc was commissioned to do the “NFL Super bowl 50th Anniversary painting” for VFA. He has been featured on the TV show “This Old House” and “Extreme Home Makeover.”Marc has done work in the newly restored “Yale art Gallery.”Marc is a portrait and fine artist and the owner with his son of “MJP Studios” a full service decorative painting company. Marc’s work has been  featured at the prestigious “Salon” an international gathering of Decorative Artists from all around the world and in books such as “Mural painting-Secrets for success” and “Designer Faux Finishes.” Marc has also lectured on Decorative Painting and Murals at the University of New Haven and has been commissioned to do three paintings of the “One world Center-Freedom tower” in NYC.
