The classic art of pencil drawing and painting portraits has always been some thing I really take pleasure in. Drawing and painting portraiture and trompe l’oeil still life in the traditional realistic style has always been a passion of mine. In my Branford, CT. portrait painting studio I have two or 3drawing and paintings going on at the same time as I like to revisit each piece with fresh eyes. As a potrait artist I really like doing pencil drawings some times using charcoal and white charcoal on gray paper.
I enjoy doing oil portraits and pastel portraits as well. I also specialize in sports art, baseball art, New York Yankee baseball art., Famous celebrities and historical art and presidential figures.Clients from Ct., N.Y., N.J., MA. and all across the US have commissioned me to paint or draw Family members, loved ones, sports art, celebrities, pets, objects, etc.
How to commission a portrait
I work off of clear, crisp reference photos. Pencil drawings start at $400.00 and up. The price for paintings depend on size, background, head, bust or full figure and the amount of figures and subject matter.
Limited edition Prints, Lithos and Giclees Limited edition Prints and Sports art, New York Yankee art and celebrity art is available. We have a beautiful composite of Mickey Mantel in a 307 limited edition signed and numbered for $ 295.00 plus shipping. We have other sports figure that will be posted soon on the website.
