CT Mural Artist Marc Potocsky giving Toads Place a face lift – Part 1

I Bumped into Brian Phelps last year, owner of Toads Place in New Haven CT.  Perhaps for an unexpected reason.

We go back to the years of when he was manager at Toads and I was a professional musician. I think the first time I played there was with Michael Boloton and other local New Haven bands. Later on with the Laughing Dogs-CBS, Johnny Winter, Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson…..

We got on the subject of art and decorative painting and he asked me if I would like to do some new murals for Toads incorporating some of the newer artists with the older classic acts that have performed there over the years. There are hundreds of artists and music legends that have performed there, some of them when they just coming out with maybe their first album and tour, but have gone to become superstars in the industry, even Icons.

So here is a taste of  some of the Panels I’ve been working on.
